Death is not an ending,
but a return.
A soft release,
like laying down a burden
you have carried too far.
It whispers,
“Rest now—
your story is written,
your breath has given all it could.”
And beyond the silence,
there is a vast meadow,
where pain does not reach,
and time does not chase.
Here,
you are whole again.

I do believe we live on after death.
Lovely interpretation and a much nicer way of looking at death
