Death and Life. And love.
Both Death and Life have always been in love with each other. Did you know?

I will write to you first, my darling.
To want something relentlessly,
To receive it,
To watch it die beneath your breath.
Somehow,
You kill me slowly,
Touching you at the last moment.
Your light, the goosebumps on my deathly skin,
I bite at the taste.
It is just you and me,
Yet I believe we just cannot exist in each other’s sight
As our paths are too rich in pride
Feeling you at the last moment.
I hope you think of me more than they do.
They hate me
But do you?
My darkness and pain could be so eased
So eased by your shine.
But I cannot resist my love for you,
Like a thirst for blood,
Your shattered glow attracts me.
Tasting your tears at the last moment.
I smother it,
Until There is no drop of light,
Nothing that’s lives.
And that my dear,
Is where they die.
But we are immortal.
Until the last creature casts breath
My temptation for your smooth, white light
Will forever be the death for such creatures
Until you find me in the darkness and settle your eternal soul in my arms
I’m afraid you will be the one i crave.
I’m sorry.
But when the last creature creeps into my cold hands
I am afraid that we will no longer be eternal
As our duty has nothing to serve.
No creatures.
No life.
Expect us.
By then we will twist and turn into each other’s breath,
Becoming one.
My darkness killing you,
And your light killing me.
Darling, I am afraid I have ruined us both.
Forgive me but you were too beautiful to resist.

Description of this story,
Death is so hated and life is so loved. But I, myself, have always wondered if both could ever fall in love if both were personified. And if so, what their story would be. This is one side of that story. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you would like to see life’s letter to death, it remains as another story on my profile :).
