Dear You,
Yes You,
You who gives me the stare,
You who send fierce whispers above my ear,
I hear you and every word you say,
With your mouth, your body, and your heart.
You speak from your gut,
Your instinct steering you wrong,
But who am I to judge these things,
For I am but a simple observer
Who has roamed the earth forever
in one location.

Dear You,
Yes You,
You who turns a blind eye to our struggles,
keeping a smiling clown mask upon your face
at all times,
pretending everything is okay
when anything is but,
I put on my weary clown mask to greet you,
almost falling down, collapsing from exhaustion and confusion
as to why I must keep up this appearance.

Dear You,
Yes You,
You who thinks that I have lived an easy life, oblivious to your struggles
when I have struggled SO much more and beyond.
But I would never hold this against you
even though I have every sense and right to be able to.
I want to resent you, curse you, bring our family line
TO RUIN. TO WATCH THE WORLD BURN.
But I just want to sleep.
I. Am. Tired.
