Dear Mr. Moon that shines so bright
Surrounded by millions of stars each night
I look at you with all the dreams and hope in my heart
I close my eyes tightly, I dream of flying so close I can touch you
Mr. Moon, hear my heart, are you there?
Make tomorrow a new day, the pain, a thing of the past
I don't ask for much, and I know you can
Dear Mr. Moon, make my dreams come true
I see your light, I feel the gentle breeze
Touching my face, saying it will be ok
Brushing away each tear, bringing a gentle smile in its place
Under the precious moonlight, this beautiful sight
I long to stay in this quiet, peaceful moment
Dear Mr. Moon, I will see you in my dreams
