Dear Love

A poem of love and loss.

Dear Love,

As I sit here and write this letter,

Memories of us flood my mind,

The love we shared, the moments we spent,

The laughter we had, the joy we left behind.

But as time passed, things changed,

And now I find myself alone,

The love we had, now lost,

And my heart feels like a stone.

I miss the warmth of your embrace,

The gentle touch of your hand,

The way you used to look at me,

As if I was the only one in your land.

But even though we're apart,

My love for you remains strong,

And I hope that someday, somehow,

We'll find our way back where we belong.

Until then, I'll keep your memory close,

And cherish all that we had,

For in my heart, you'll always be,

The love that made my life glad.

Sincerely,

Lovebug
