Dear Life take me back to the old days

Where life passed like boats on the bays

Nothing really mattered and it was all good

Everything seemed to be how it should

Yet now I ask for your peace and guidance

I need all the noise to be silenced

Through word you’ve promised me many things

That dwell inside the bloodlines of great kings

A mind that focuses on the true

For a body to feel brand new

Discipline yourself, it asks

Preparing for you different tasks

Your future is hiding greatness

Your mind causes the lateness

Out of body the soul goes

To the place of eternal woes

Don’t fear in the midst of evil

This too shall pass my people

The children of light

Never will be forgotten

Through the dark night

Never grows too rotten
