Dear Kids

You want to grow up so fast

Mom wants you to stay small

When mom looks at you she still sees a little one

You look at yourself and see an "adult"

You want to grow up so fast

Mom is holding on tight

Tight but she knows she will have to let go

Be patient with mom

Let her have her second and third glances and hugs as you head out the door

Time is moving fast, your future is bright

Mom is cheering you on all day and night

As you head out into the real world remember all of moms good advice

She isn't nagging, she is speaking from experience

Dear Kids

Pause for a moment and let mom know her advice is on your heart and mind

Let her know you too sometimes wish you could slow down time

All too true about how kids want to grow up fast and parents want to savour the moments that go too quickly. nice work
