Alice why did you ever leave Wonderland

To dream and never have to wake

Would that really be so awful

I find it to be a lovely thought

Although, Alice, this is the real world

Here there aren't only dreams…

But nightmares

Often times I think I would rather face my nightmares

Better than living in the real world

The world is a wretched place, really

Where people take until you have nothing left to give

But still they push and pull

Then you find yourself at your breaking point

Oh Alice, I think I've reached mine

Or at least I'm getting close

I wonder what it will be like on the other side

Alice, tell me it's lovely

Please don't let me find it to be terrible

I can't endure any more

Oh Alice, why did you ever leave Wonderland

I suppose you had your reasons

Maybe when I sleep to never wake that is where I will end up

What do you think Alice

Do you think I'll arrive in Wonderland

I promise if I do

I'll say hello to the cheshire cat for you

That is if I can find him

Although, I suppose he will probably find me

I do hope I am not late

I wouldn't want to miss anyone's unbirthday

That would be considered awfully rude

Oh to sleep and never wake

I consider that to be a dream

A fantasy

I mean, Alice, you're only a figment of my imagination

Don't be offended though

I have quite the twisted imagination

One where I sleep and never wake

Oh Alice, Why did you ever leave Wonderland
