I am dead asleep,

In my bed so deep,

No dreams, no sound,

I am completely bound.

The world outside,

Fades away with the tide,

As I rest my head,

On my soft pillow bed.

No noise, no light,

Can disturb my quiet night,

I am completely still,

In my dreamless chill.

But soon enough,

I'll wake up and stuff,

My head with the day,

And all its usual fray.

For now, I'll sleep,

In my bed so deep,

Dead asleep,

Until I wake and leap.
