Dead asleep, a peaceful slumber,
Dreams take flight, with no encumber,
The night is still, a calming breeze,
A lullaby, to soothe and please.
In slumber's hold, no worries roam,
A mind at ease, a heart full-grown,
No troubles to hinder, no fears to face,
Only dreams, in this warm embrace.
A soft bed, a silent room,
The night surrounds, with a tranquil boon,
The moonlight peeks, through the curtains bright,
Dead asleep, a world of light.
So let us sleep, and dream with ease,
With a heart full of love and peace,
For sleep is a gift, that we must receive,
Dead asleep, a soul's reprieve.
