In the depths of darkness, hatred grows,
A poison that corrupts, a bitter throes.
It festers in hearts, consumes the soul,
Leaves scars unseen, takes its toll.
With every whisper, with every breath,
It spreads its venom, bringing death.
It blinds the eyes, clouds the mind,
Leaving empathy and reason behind.
Yet amidst the shadows, a flicker of light,
Hope's gentle glow, banishing night.
For love is the antidote, pure and true,
It heals wounds deep, makes all things anew.
So let us choose love, let it reign supreme,
And shatter the chains of hatred's regime.
For in the end, it's love that prevails,
And in its embrace, peace unfurls its sails.
