What do you tell someone who is experiencing dark thoughts?
What don’t you tell them?
Tell them everything
Tell them how much their heart means to you.
Tell them that they even though don’t believe it, they are worthy.
Not because it’s cliche, but because we sometimes need to know we are seen by others.
Don’t be afraid to give them your heart, tell them what you see about them in a positive light.
At the moment all they see is the wrong they’ve done or the wrong others have told them about themselves.
They made it seem like it was a bad thing, the things they’ve done.
Only to be reminded they are human, being human doesn’t have to be all darkness.
In fact, being human can be a miracle.
Like the kid who had cancer and then it goes away cause they believed and was healed.
But then, it could be a simple thing that changes our minds forever.
Like seeing a picture of your past loved ones whom made their life as grand as they could.
These things turn darkness into light.
You must experience darkness in order to appreciate your light.

So true. There least we could do is be kind to everyone. I especially loved your last two lines
Yep. Loved the last line. Lovely.
Beautiful! That last line really stayed with me.
This is beautiful and full of heart. I’d say: thank you for reminding us that sometimes, the simplest truths—like being seen, being loved, and being human—can be the light someone needs.
