Darkness to color

I thought i’d find the color in you but in the end all there was, was darkness

once I seeked outside of what I knew

got a chance to explore and realized all of the color was always in me

they started pouring out

digging just a little bit deeper

I run across red

red because I’m grounded and rooted in myself

orange because I’m free to just be

yellow because I am am the sun

and green because my heart is open and full of love and light

I saw blue because I learned to speak my truth clearly

as well as purple because I see things you don’t

I see pink meaning I am centered, connected and even when i’m feeling grey, I dig a little more and find the rainbow of balance
