Dark Starry Night
A peaceful walk, just me, the stars and the moon

Dark Starry Night
Dark starry night unfolds above
a quiet moon watches close
cool shadows stretch along the ground
soft silver light without a sound
the world holds still beneath this calm
no need for words or empty charm
just night and stars in steady flight
a silent pact, a calm delight
the dark does not bite or scream
it wraps the earth in gentle dream
no fleeting hues, no whispered lies
just honest dark and honest skies
a cold breath lingers in the air
it cuts through flesh, it does not care
no promises of warmth or light
just endless black, relentless night
the stars stare down with cold intent
their fire distant, indifferent
no comfort found beneath their gaze
just truth exposed in empty haze
here in this space I breathe alone
no promises or light unknown
just steady dark and steady peace
a quiet place where troubles cease
yet even peace can feel like chains
the night holds tight in silent reigns
no dawn to break the endless black
no turning now, no way back
the moon hangs low, a pale witness
to all the night’s cold bitterness
no hope to find, no dreams to chase
just empty dark and empty space

This is hauntingly serene—like standing still in the quiet truth of the universe. “Just honest dark and honest skies” and “peace can feel like chains” linger long after reading. You’ve captured the kind of night that feels both freeing and suffocating. Stunning work.
