-*-

Call me crazy if you must,

I'll still make my silly plans

to go around this precious world

while my life reinvent its span.

-*-

Call me a moron if you must,

I'll still ignore all the red flags

to discover all those places

while I shout a crying jag.

-*-

Don't you dare to play an act

where your mind ceases to recall

all the stories I'd been writing

'bout transforming into an atoll.

-*-

And don't you dare to stop my dreams

to enjoy my Life to its extent;

chances are I'll find the peace

I have been looking for my end.

About the Creator

Alex Torres

Started writing short stories back in 1988 at work, when I had an empty page to fill for the employee's internal magazine. Taking the pen again after a 30 year-long hiatus, exploring where it takes me this time.
