Dancing In The Storm

A Sensory Poem

By Altum VeritasPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Distant rolling thunder calls, and gentle rainfall pattering,

The sweet, damp scent of sodden earth, and moss with lichen mingling

Bright arcs of light the night defy, and clouds like giants mustering

Soft drops of rain and misty breeze on tender skin so welcoming

From whetted lips my tongue escapes to capture nature's offering
