The Pain Still Lives In Me, But I Will Rise Again.

You hurt me,

We Don't talk,

The distance is painful,

Though necessary,

You have no idea,

What my life has been like,

Walking in a world where the very

people who say they love you constantly

abuse you like you are nothing;

I walk away from childhood and young adulthood,

With a heart full of pain,

A mind full of torment,

And tears of sadness because I never got

the happy start that I deserved,

A child deserves two parents who love her,

As she is,

No matter how difficult,

A child cannot control their emotions unless

their parents teach them love,

And love does not mean abandonment,

Especially not for the sake of another woman,

Or an abusive blood relative,

You never loved me.

You turned your back on me,

Treated me like I was nothing,

And you never saw the tears or the hurt

in my eyes,

Nevertheless;

I grew from the pain,

But there is one thing I want you to know,

Abuse is not love,

The pain lives in me,

But I will rise again,
