Everything is smoke,
a chasing after the wind.
Everyone has gone astray
and no longer knows true meaning.
Every heartfelt repentance is shattered
by new sin.
Every leap of faith is rewarded
by a glimpse of the mountain,
bigger than one can climb.
Where is true wisdom? What is the purpose of the mountain
if not to climb?
Everything in the world is a means to an end
so how do I live when the end is predetermined?
