Cute as a Button

You are as cute as a button

Whether two eyes or four

The thread of our love

Sewn in the fabric of life

Patches of our quilted bond

Bursting at the seams

Our thread will not unravel

When in a hole

Mend it with care

Our love stitches the tears

As someone who once sewed dresses for her girls and shirts for her boys when they were young, I find the metaphors stitched PERFECTLY! loved this

  • Despite not being crafty nor into sewing, this is a very sweet poem capturing Love!💖

  • Oh I absolutely loved that you used the concept of button and stitches for this challenge! Beautiful poem!
