Cursed Intentions

If there is a road to hell paved with good intentions... Then, such a road that is laid with bad intentions will lead where?

I can't believe I believed all you said to me-

And let you see into me

This is not how intimacy ought to be

Validation for yourself is what you sought from me

To be a character in your fantasy-

Is all you thought of me

Your cursed intentions are a sea of mallace

What I saw in you-

I don't know

I should've known-

Too good to be true

What you saw in me-

Just an opportunity

To put in play your cursed intentions-

Deceit

You read me like a book and played me like a CD

Took all that was the last of me

And burned the bridge you lead me to

Oh the dread-

Of what's come to be

You've placed a curse on me

Can I still bleed?

I still can't believe- Where you got me

What you've done- Your double-dealt deeds

Your cursed intentions

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.

This is perfect venting! And that road? I thought it led to politics... ;)

😡😡to that person! Good job on showing the frustrations, angst and anger.
