I don't know how many cats Curiosity has actually killed...
Probably none, definitely not nine times in a row.
The age-old statement is nothing but fear-mongering.
What I do know is that Complacency serves up a fate far worse than simple death, it leaves the victim to drudge emotionlessly through a lifetime's worth of apathetic acceptance, devoid of any real adventure or evolution.
I myself had the opinion that it's best to just accept and adapt to a shitty situation.
What a mistake to make, it leads one down a habitual path of perpetual mediocrity.
No, down with complancency I say, rebel and rebel and rebel.
We are not creatures of blind acceptance and surrender, fuck that.
Choose the path of curiosity, question everything, and stand against that which you deem unjust and improper.
We are soulful beings of passionate disobedience, and we owe it to ourselves and the betterment of the world as a whole to be the change we seem to have discarded as faery-tale, childish impossibility.
It only seems complicated because we have convinced ourselves that it is so.
Start immediately, remove the word "can't" from your vocabulary and, replace it with "fuck it, let's try".
We are not doomed to struggle in endless hope that someday somebody magical may come along and fix it all...
That somebody has already arrived;
It's you, you silly fuck.
Wake up and see the ultimate beauty that is YOU, so that you can show the sleeping fools around you what THEY are too.
Together we have a chance to advance.
