Cupid Needs Glasses
Love is Blind... And So is Cupid!

Oh, Cupid dear, you’ve lost your sight,
Your arrows land left, when they should go right.
You struck my heart, but missed my brain,
Now I love someone who drives me insane!
_ _ _ _
His jokes are bad, his socks don’t match,
He burns the toast but loves the batch.
He sings off-key, yet sings so proud,
Like a cat in pain—but twice as loud.
_ _ _ _
And me? Oh, don’t you start!
I snore so loud I shake his heart.
I steal the sheets, I talk in dreams,
I hoard my snacks—and hide the creams.
_ _ _ _
Yet here we stand, hand in hand,
A mismatched but devoted band.
For love is blind—or slightly blurred,
And Cupid aims like an awkward bird.
_ _ _ _
So here’s to quirks and flaws galore,
To loving more and judging less—
For if Cupid had 20/20 sight,
Would love still be this much of a mess?
