Crystal Heart

Poem

Flower Heart Spring - Tobe Fonseca

Crystal Heart shining white

Often I ask why I shatter,

Why they hit me and I crack

And it hurts when I breathe in

And it hurts when I breathe out,

But then I see that nothing is broken,

It's just the frequency of the hit

That echoes within me for some time

And transmutes to crystal from within.

Crystal Heart shining white

Often I ask why I'm clear,

Why they see through me as I am

and they shame me to be myself,

and they shame me to be so clear,

But then I see that Light is everywhere

And there's no shadow within me,

And there's no shame to be myself,

And there's no shame to be so brave.

Crystal Heart shining white

Often I ask why I shine,

Why I Light to others,

Why I give to those who don't give,

Why I give all, and there's still so much more to give,

But then I see who you are,

All hits have made you stronger,

All openness have made you true,

All Light shines within,

Let it shine within you.
