no one’s immune to Cupid’s sly bow despite the odds of everything it’s not just about me it’s about you too the story of us us against the world it’s you and me
or am i alone in this?
what shall i do? which part shall i take? to continue on or take on a different route? bidding my goodbyes as our hearts going on our separate journey
shall i allow my heart to rule breaking the silence it felt surreal couldn’t believe it true i couldn’t help it elevated yet a little down with uncertainty
how about you? is there a room for me in your heart?
i’m crushing on you but i’m afraid to meet your gaze afraid of losing my inhibitions would i lose you too would our stars align?
our future uncertain yet seems clear keeping my heart out of sight my mind’s a little hesitant my emotions are roaring inside
a tricky path for me wanting to go ahead but no way to retrace my steps tough to resist the pull do i throw caution to the wind drowning myself in this feeling where there’s nothing to fear
step by step as we come closer and closer our hearts will meet maybe yours awaits ready to embrace mine maybe i’m already in your heart
