Crumbling Destiny

What is destiny?

By PathlessJourneyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

My world crumbles around me,

And yet I utter no cry,

Unleash no scream.

I only gaze into the visage of my destiny.

Destiny.

Is it one’s path, one’s fate?

Is it the agony, the joy?

Is it the light at the end of the black shrouded tunnel?

What, then, is my destiny,

If all that I have built,

All that I have dreamed,

Crumbles before my very eyes?

I am powerless to stop it.

And yet…

I utter no cry,

Unleash no scream.

I only gaze into the visage of my destiny.
