Crossing Parallels

Must See Color

By Cindy Jean-BaptistePublished 5 years ago 1 min read
See color

When I close my eyes to wander in the unknown

I find that I am alive in a subconscious realm

When I try to grasp this reality, it's always long gone

My thoughts never meet with my wildest dream

It's a reality, provides sanctity, here I need to escape

In this world of color, eyes are fixated only on black and white

Racing through parallels desperate to traverse each landscape

To open my big brown eyes to this amazing delight

I live in two distinct worlds, each old and new

Subdued in existential conflicts

Like a honey drop on the morning dew

They will never mix

I still stand, I keep pushing, must not give up

Must see color. Color is beautiful

Half full, half empty, there's optimism in my cup

Presence of no color is dangerous. presence of all color is powerful

inspirational
