Crime City

The Poet of Crime City

By Ahamed ThousifPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In Crime City, the streets are dark and grim

Where shadows dance and dreams are faint

Police sirens wail, mobs roam

Too bad this city has no place to call home

The streets are lined with danger, and so are the alleys

Where all despair and loss come from

Drug dealers happily smuggle their wares

And victims fall prey to their misery

The heart of the city beats like a deadly bass

Where the guilty flourish and the innocent decline

Lawless streets, breeding grounds for crime

Where are the good times when the wicked prosper

But during this confusion and pain

A ray of hope, a ray of gain

For those seeking justice, a chance to begin

Heal wounds and mend sin

So let's rise and take a stand

Against the crime and evil in this land

Let's fight for what's right and be strong

Bring hope back to the crime city where we belong
