Cracker v Nature

Diwali

By Karun Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Neon lights and city sprawl

In the silence of the trees

Gently comes a breeze

A cracker's story

Yet rivers flow and oceans roar

don't beg and don't you please

Glowing Bright like sunlight

There comes a time for all to bid the world goodnight

When it was about the time

For crackers to burst out

drops and drops fell the rain

becoming a soggy mess instead of lighting the night

cracker vs Nature

Dead dark or Cloud nine

Life decides your future

Let it all be fine

Cracker's echo in the urban air

polluting the blue sky

Nature's melody in the forest's lair

A temporary thrill, makes you feel high
