Pure and soft

In secret whispers, hearts do meet,
A love so pure, so soft, so sweet.
With gentle glances, souls entwined,
In quiet longing, love defined.

A knight would bow, his heart to give,
For in her grace, his soul would live.
No touch or kiss, yet hearts ignite,
In honour's name, their love takes flight.

With vows unspoken, hearts remain,
In love's soft glow, untouched by pain.
A fleeting glance, a tender sigh,
Love's promise rests in the lover's eye.

Bound by respect, yet lost in fire,
Courtly love lifts hearts much higher.
In distant dreams, their love will stay,
An endless dance, night into day.
