Course redefined

Moving forward with the time and taking note of what’s behind.

To the top we climb each day and look ahead to know the way.

We’ve come so far and remained strong. Had to learn what’s right and wrong.

So why are we not always sure? The final outcome’s still a blur.

I like to think we do it all. There’s even plans for if we fall.

Many want to lead, then try, Then always disappoint, no one knows why.

Do we not plan a future that will last? Are we reaching goals we make too fast?

Or are we lost on roads we do not know, without a map or knowing where to go?

I guess we hope there’s reasons for our kind. But if there’s not, we seek what we can’t find.

So just in case we’re in an endless race, it might be wise for us to change the pace.

And create meaning for ourselves and life. We’ll dream for more knowing we survive.
