When Lightning Strikes
What to write?
On blank page that innocently lies.
It taunts and it haunts
and never gives away the secrets it holds.
To unfold the magic, Foolishly to proceed
with bravery the rivals and knight and his steed.
Not every word or story is a fire,
won't burn in the minds of others,
they say lightning only strikes the same place once?
Go ask the Washington Monument.
And then be the thunderstorm to the calm white page.
And break through to the other side.
About the Creator
Mellford
I fear not the pretty words of a man I know to be a liar. I fear the word of a man I know who would tell ugly truth.
