Cosmic Stones

Straight forward I will risk, on my spinning disk, destination unknown, next stop another miss,

The 3rd strike it may be, next inning and we’ll see, another swing, another chance, risk forward and be me,

Onward I will roll, a trade wind I will be, the courage of a hungry lion, and the sting of a honey bee,

Two steps I finally make, a victory lap I’m honored to take, a door opened for me, my next opportunity gate,

Now that I’m here, I sail with no fear, ascending to new heights, no headlights, and no deer,

Learn as you go, you still may not know, trust an untested source, but still I must go,

Once found pays you double, and this you should know, the discovery of self, is what lit up the show,

Applause to the crowd, that pushed me along, we laid the right tracks, so I wrote my own song,

Do all that you can, work hard and be tough, all talk, and no action is just not enough,

The goal and the mission, to reach the brightest stars, a cosmic journey of the self, teed up and on par,

Paths are made from different stones, that path may not be laid for me,

Trust your heart to choose your stone, open wide and walk soul free.
