We saw her coming

We hear the roaring of her voice

But still she took us unaware

Because we took her for granted

We can't escape but bear her wrath now

Her sting as poisonous as viper

Dreadful and ruthless

Her outstretched wrecked havoc

Spreading easy and faster like the speed of light

Her verdict so draconic on the rich

Parting the poor with mercy

Yet she's regardless and mannerless in dealings

Her genesis are manifold and ambiguous

With no panacea to appease her anger

She is pandemic

Sitting in one corner like the smoke

But still felt globally

The talk of all towns

Her appearance humble nations

Creating pandemonium scenario

Streets were deserted

Cough, fever and asphyxia her weapon of destruction

Nose masks and gloves her outfit for prevention

Proclaiming lockdown and shutdown of engagement

Marring up activities

Crippling social unity

For everybody was seen as a suspect

We are down in a ghost town

mortality increment suppressing population

increment suppressing population

Her outbreak is not an easy go

Who would save us?
