We Reap What We Sow

By Gerard DiLeoPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Breaths in utero--

High tide, floating and tethered,

I swim for my life.

________________

Hunger expands and

Bursts my bellows with swift puffs:

Flush my blue heart, red.

Alone and apart

I bide passion's ignition,

Welding fruition.

________________

Solid ground we walk

Jointly; in good time we must

Seed it from below.

a fine structure to explore the prompt, Gerard. I did like-wise with one. I enjoyed the raw physicality of this very much!
