Consume Me With Your Love

Fire melts

Fire burns

Fire is bright

Fire hurts

You melt my heart

Then burn me with your silence

Your heart shine bright through every uplifting word you ever said to me

Your love can also hurt me

Leave me lonely

Leave me crying

With nothing

Because you burn everything down

Your love is fire

Great to feel until it hurts

And becomes suffocating

But the crazy mind enjoys the fire

Satisfaction in the fight to put out the flames

So keep burning

Keep the flames coming

Keep loving me the way you are loving me

With the red and blue flames

Burn me and make my soul black

Then maybe our souls will finally come together

Let the love consume me like fire

I can take the pain if it means I get to enjoy watching the flames

I love the way you've captured love as something beautiful and destructive. I've definitely been there!
