In an age of heroes and towering might,

A conqueror emerged, blazing a trail of light.

Alexander, they called him, a name to resound,

In the annals of history, forever renowned.

From Macedon's cradle, he rose to the fore,

With ambition ablaze, seeking conquests galore.

His spirit unyielding, his vision so vast,

To carve out an empire, no boundaries amassed.

A lion in battle, fearless and bold,

Strategist supreme, his tales were told.

With Aristotle's wisdom, a mind so keen,

He marched forth, as if in a lucid dream.

From the shores of Greece to the Persian land,

Through deserts and rivers, he led his band.

Egypt's ancient sands whispered his name,

As Pharaoh he stood, crowned by acclaim.

The Gordian knot, a challenge defied,

Proclaimed his destiny, a world to ride.

The vastness of Asia, his conquest domain,

Yet, a yearning for more, an unquenchable flame.

In the heart of Babylon, his journey ceased,

A young life cut short, an empire's feast.

A legacy etched in history's scroll,

A legacy that echoes, an immortal soul.

Alexander the Great, a colossus in time,

A saga of conquest, a tale so prime.

He left us a legacy, a legend to keep,

In the annals of greatness, his memory shall sleep.
