The algorithm feeds me messages,

horoscopes, readings, manifestations that someone will return,

but it calculates an error.

There is no one from my past welcome in my future,

no one missed, no one longed for, at least not anymore,

but I recognize the apps don't know that.

Maybe putting it in writing will help connect the dots:

● I ● am ● thankful ● for ● all ● departures ● that ● have ● come ●

and I demand they stay where they belong, exactly as I want them,

far from me and permanent.

This 💯👏🏾👏🏾 They need to learn to stop suggesting people that I may know, and just suggest things that interest me. Love your poem, it's so relatable and real.
