Confessions Of The Heart

I come to you with open arms,

& with all the love that I have to offer.

I can tell you weren't the happiest,

But there is one thing that I can't help but wonder.

What happened that made you the way you are now?

I want to hear your story because I can see the pain in your eye..

I can see clear as day that you're afraid,

& to be vulnerable with you, honestly so am I.

Let me undo all that has been done,

& rewrite our stories for our story.

As I slowly make the wrong things right,

I vow to make amends as God as my witness & we bask in his glory.

I hope to get lucky enough,

So I can see how this story ends.

But until then I just want you to take me serious,

As we grow closer together, You & I, as we take over the world while our bond ascends.

Maybe this Craft Of Mine, that I treat like Art,

Will help get across the message as these are Confessions Of The Heart.
