Dear father,

This letter serves as official notification

regarding the condemnation

of the property located

in the middle of my chest cavity

Following a thorough inspection

of a dozen suppressed memories

faked school photos

rehearsed lies—

It has been determined

that the aforementioned property

is condemned

due to the following reasons:

• conditional love
• paying half your mortgage when I was 20
• the unanswered wedding invitation
