Concept of Color
When looking for inspiration, I found my answer

Color is my journey with depression,
The fading, dulling, and blending of light at the time,
The monochrome matte of the moment;
The freedom and life after getting help.
Everything coming into focus.
Was the world always this bright? Were there always this many shades of green?
Is it even possible to capture them all?
Color is buying paint with you, only for us to discover we don’t like it.
It’s keeping the jar long after the dresser is finished, and agreeing it’s not that bad.
It’s lying on the floor restoring furniture, dreaming of our future.
Color is courage and a prayer.
It’s putting on your lucky shirt, having a signature shade in your art,
Invoking feelings, power, and psychology to get through the day.
It’s the magick of shaping your world a little at a time;
Creating the spectrum that has always been you.
