Comfort is...

Comforting, right?

Comfort is...

Comfort is coming home from school or work and instantly decompressing.

Comfort is grabbing a clean glass from the cabinet and filling it with water.

Comfort is gulping down that very same glass of fresh water, and having your eyes water a tad bit from the hydration.

Comfort is opening the refrigerator to always finding something good to eat.

Comfort is eating leftovers that taste just as good, if not even better, when they were freshly cooked.

Comfort is being able to lie down and bask in the sun's rays of a window.

Comfort is reclining on the couch, and feeling yourself sink in.

Comfort is having a warm blanket draped over yourself.

Comfort is when your pet climbs up on the couch, tickling your body with the weight of their paws, before plopping down on you, cuddling together.

Comfort is not having to worry about due dates or deadlines.

Comfort is being in comfortable clothes, like sweat pants, pajamas, underwear, or even a bathrobe (heck even sometimes nothing at all).

Comfort is looking through old pictures and memories while having that slight smile on your face.

Comfort is taking a nap, and waking up with your nostrils still moist.

Comfort is booting up an old game system, like a Nintendo DS with a GameBoy Advance game, and experiencing the nostalgia that you had as a child whilst exploring another world.

Comfort is picking up a good book, whether it's a reread or a new read, and indulging in the author's imagination.

Comfort is not worrying about the dishes, since the sink is empty and clean.

Comfort is taking a warm shower or relaxing bath, and letting all of your worries melt away as the dirt and grime gets washed away.

Comfort is lying down in a comfy bed, the softness almost lulling you away to sleep, perfectly.

Comfort is lying underneath a nice, big, fluffy, warm comforter while the air conditioning is blasting on high with a soft droning humming sound and the ceiling fan runs at top speed (adding that bit of razzle-dazzle for heat and cold).

Comfort is being able to go to bed at night and not having those cringe worthy thoughts that your brain likes to remind you of in the early AMs.

Comfort is having a cringe worthy thought, and being at peace with it, cause we're all people, and we're all a little awkward sometimes.

Comfort is getting a good night's rest, no matter how late you go to bed, nor how early you have to rise.

Comfort is sleeping without your dream worrying about the amount of time you'll get sleeping. (Hmmm, that's a suspicious amount of sleep we're getting.)

Comfort is waking up and feeling well-rested to seize the day.

Comfort is having a nice meal once you wake up, since sleep is just a time machine to breakfast.

Comfort is slipping on a warm pair of socks that are fresh out the laundry dryer.

Comfort is being clean, smelling good, and having fresh, clean, clothes to leave the house.

Comfort is being comfortable leaving your place of comfort, because the world is your oyster. You can make any place, group, conversation comfortable. Cause you are...

Comfort.

I loved this! My favourites were having the slight smile while looking at old photos or memories and booting up an old game on the GBA. I love Pokemon!
