Comfort In The Small Things
Because life is about all the tiny moments that add up to create something wonderful.

Summer
I feel comfort in touch; the touch of someone dear,
Someone to hold me close when the end of day is near.
I feel comfort in the sun,
To see the light shine down when I'm out having fun.
And warmth; the warmth of summer like a perfect hug,
it keeps me happy like a bug in a rug.
With a cup of tea and a good book,
I'd love to snuggle up in a sun-bathed nook.
To lay my weary head and drift off to sleep,
and wake well rested; no need to count sheep.
And don't forget about family;
those who are there through thick and thin,
Are always the best company,
So I consider it a win.
