Comfort.

A poem

In the clumsy season between East and West,

And when the Earth seems her friendliest;

Bewildering wings spark imagination,

Until I'm flown away by a fairytale creation.

.

I know that to dream will always be dangerous,

But my nature to be curious has helped me soar.

I imagine dolphins as we dip and dive,

And the weight on my shoulders forces tears from my eyes.

.

Everything is beautiful as I wash memories away;

I'll let joy replace pain, anyday.

The greenhouse we live in, the sun grips with spite;

Because never in forever could we survive life 'right.'

.

Coping is an opinion; we can only do our best.

As for right now, the time provided feels entirely bottomless.

My disassociation is the realisation that our bones are hollowed out

Reminders of our confidence, now cracked deserts of doubt.

.

In the airless sky I find notes of wisdom,

As all I've considered shift back to fictions.

From this comfort I can hoist up my brightness,

Outshining the sun so no one will notice.

    Wow, this is stunning! Dreamy vibes mixed with deep feels—what a ride! Love how it captures both the weight of life and the beauty of rising above it. That last line? Total chef’s kiss!
