Come be my world

The desire for connection

I want you to want to come over

As much as or more than I want you to

I don’t want to have to ask

I don’t want to hear “Do you want me to?”

I want you to just pull up on me

If I make it known

What I have going on

No questions need to be asked

You’re invited,

The door is open

I always want your presence near

Now bae, come over here

Let me kiss your face

While you occupy that space

That was reserved just for your peace

I want to bask in your dopeness

Because when you’re gone I get dope sick

And need you again by my side

Not for sex

But for chest

You calm my ADHD

I can sit still under you

And know I’m safe from the outside world

In thunder

And clouds

And rainfall

With you, I am safely protected from it all

Now bae, come be my world
