Colours of the real life

By Liana Kraan

By Liana KraanPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

how do I see red when It’s all in my head?

And why do I feel blue when I’m missing you?

My moneys green but they will never see. What all of this hate does and it’s killing me.

And I know my heart is black but there’s no turning back.

But I’ll be lighting up the night, my energies so white because I’m living life right.

I promised my mother that I would stay gold, So now I stay bold and it never gets old.

My new purse I bought is glossy pink. I honestly don’t really care what any others think.

There’s always a silver lining. You’ll see me free and smiling and you know I’m never lying.

I can only feel the colours shining bright with all my brothers.

My sisters will be there too and I will never see them blue. I do what I have to do.

So just know if I ever come knocking at your door, just know I showed my true colours and will forever more.
