Did anyone ever tell you that you should be locked up,

Institutionalised,

Strapped to yourself like roasting meat waiting to be cooked.

Trauma is your story, but that is no excuse for all the things you miss.

Rationality tells you that they might be onto something,

Accusations of insanity are like rust, they build up over time,

Corroding your resolve.

This comes from years of staring out windows,

Ignoring the focus because your peripheral is more intriguing.

Only thing is, that's not insanity, not even close.

Neurodivergence is seeing colour in places where others see only grey.
