COLOUR CHART.

I’m feeling beige

By Marlon Caldwell Published 5 years ago 1 min read

In this last year I’ve been feeling pretty beige.

14 months of lockdown has made the colour from my skin drain.

Like a plant lacking light.

I feel as old and dusty as my unused clothes in my wardrobe

My vibrant hue has dimmed a little.

Luckily I’m not yet grey or blue but feel like a big block of beige.

As summer emerges. I may yet get back my rosy cheeks.

As the blood starts pumping around my veins.

I may yet become “tan” or “latte” coloured.

The colour will start to flow back into my face.

From beige to a glow.

My mood from dark to light.
