Color Theory
I want to feel red and hot pink
I want to radiate from my heart’s center
More than I think
I want to deepen into my indigo silence
To seep in the solitude + shake off the violence
Craving to be accosted with
Intention + love
I’m yellow inside I’m happy, alive
Bursting into brightness
Soaked to the bone in safety + lightness
Careful with my color
I’m an indigo lover
Open +alive
I’m yellow in spring
Grounded in my greens
And out of a orange I sing
Zest for life and burst open
Like I’m thoroughly soaked in
Regal, radiant, radical red
Violet + silent don’t mistake my
Quiet for blues, deepening my
Distance lessening my resistance
In this particular instance
There’s no need to be scared but
We’re all visually impaired
Fractal bits of light orbit hits
Colors + hues are so subtlety infused
Shaping our perception
Awakening from deception
The entirety of the lesson
Is just beyond the
Vale of my vision
I close my eyes + I see more + I listen
Someday in the fullness
We’ll see it but for now
I receive it
I’m crystal
Im cosmic
I’m prismic
I’m exotic
I’m colorful
I’m chaotic
The tension of creation is my protest
Of stale old + heavy stagnation
So if I color outside the lines
Don’t be scared it’s assigned + it’s aligned
And that’s pretty much all that’s on my mind
