Colors of Us.
Part of a beautiful complexion
I'm a proof of the love from different pigmentation.
A color I’m proud to have.
The pale, fair, olive, and ebony
Are skin tones I am drawn.
White, brown, black, and blonde
My eyes, my nose, and my skin
Are distinct from them.
But I am me and you are you,
Were different but the same.
We, carry the colors of those that came before us.
Bless those that will follow us.
Accept the imperfection
that comes with it,
That is the true beauty of you.
The discriminating eyes of all
around that sees,
Might make you feel blue.
Stillstand for the color you have,
And make your legacy be known.
Your color is a part of me,
As I am a part of yours.

Draft Deleting? Don't Do It!
Today, I had a little time. I decided that I would have a look at the drafts that I have on Vocal. This is part of a long-term wish to have everything I've written on paper rather than virtually. I've not looked at them for weeks and something drew me to them, just to browse and see what was there.
