The wind blows cold, through a heart so bare,

A soul so empty, a pain that's everywhere.

The tears fall like rain, from a broken heart,

A love that's lost, a life that's torn apart.

The memories linger, like a haunting dream,

A love that once was, a love that's no more seen.

The silence echoes, through a heart so hollow,

A love that's gone, a love that's no more to follow.

The darkness creeps in, a shadow of pain,

A love that's ended, a love that's in vain.

The emptiness grows, a wound that won't heal,

A love that's lost, a love that's so real.

So let the tears fall, and wash away the past,

For a love that's gone, will never be meant to last.
